NJ Advocates to Testify at Two Major Environmental Hearings Tomorrow, Thursday May 20th

Clean Water Action State Director, Amy Goldsmith, and NJ Board Chair, Janet Tauro, will be testifying tomorrow at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) hearing on its proposed Advanced Clean Truck rule to electrify trucks and the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee hearing to advance NJ Senate President Sweeney’s bill (S.3688) giving impacted neighboring towns a say in warehouse sitings, respectively. The advocates will be supporting both efforts to promote environmental justice, combat the climate crisis and propose concrete suggestions to make them even stronger and more effective.
