NJ Black Women’s Collective Hosts 3rd Annual Women’s History Month Event to Celebrate Progress and Empowerment

Hamilton, NJ– The NJ Black Women’s Collective (NJBWC) proudly announces its 3rd Annual Women’s History Month Event, set to take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Social Profit Center, 1 North Johnston Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08609. This year’s theme, “Moving Forward Together,” highlights the power of unity, resilience, and leadership within the Black women’s community.
The event will bring together leaders, advocates, and community members for an inspiring evening featuring entertainment, giveaways, and special guests. Attendees will enjoy an engaging program while networking over delicious hors d’oeuvres.
The NJBWC will also present a special award to six community leaders and advocates who have demonstrated their commitment to the advancement of Black women achievement.
Woman of Achievement Award: KaNeda Bullock, RosaLee Boyer, Nathalie Nelson, Pamela Pruitt.
Male Ally Legacy Award: James Gee, Jay Redd, John Harmon, Kevin Drennan
Founder Tennille McCoy emphasized the significance of this year’s gathering: "Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate our past, recognize our present, and strategize for our future. ‘Moving Forward Together’ reflects the strength and perseverance of Black women in New Jersey and beyond. This event is about uplifting and empowering each other to continue making history."
Co-Founder Taraun Tice McKnight added, "We are thrilled to bring together such an incredible community of women and allies. Our goal is to foster meaningful conversations, honor our collective achievements, and inspire action toward greater opportunities and equity for Black women."
Tickets for the event are priced at $50 per guest, with proceeds supporting the NJ Black Women’s Collective’s mission to advance leadership, advocacy, and empowerment for Black women in New Jersey.
