NJ Realtors Educational Foundation Celebrates 50 Years

Trenton, N.J. (March 27, 2019) —This year, the New Jersey Realtors Educational Foundation is celebrating half a century of fostering education, promoting knowledge, conducting research, and assisting in the education of students.

Since its establishment in 1969, hundreds of deserving students pursuing a college education have received scholarships. The selection process for these students includes their academic achievements, financial need, interest in real estate endeavors, and contributions to family, school, and communities.

To commemorate the anniversary and to help continue its charitable work, the foundation has launched a donation campaign—$50 for 50 More Years—which encourages donations of $50 to help the foundation thrive for another half-century.

“It’s a great honor to help students chase their dreams,” said 2019 NJ Realtors Educational Foundation President Eleanor Stern. “We have big plans for the future and can’t wait to see what these young adults will achieve with their college degrees.”

The campaign also encompasses a social media spotlight program which honors donors and highlights scholarship recipients’ educational journeys on NJ Realtors Facebook page.

There is still time to apply for 2019 scholarships. The deadline for all applications is April 5, 2019 at 5 p.m.
