NJ Sierra Club Director Jeff Tittel Honored By SEIU 32BJ

On Saturday, New Jersey Sierra Club Director Jeff Tittel was presented with the “Outstanding Accomplishment Under Pressure Award”. He was recognized for his “outstanding work in promoting responsible development in New Jersey” by the 32BJ SEUI, the largest union of property service workers in the U.S. The organization’s mission is to “build and grow a diverse, effective, politically independent and democratic organization of workers to change our lives for the better, improve our communities, and build a more just society for present and future generations.”

“I am very honored to receive this award from SEIU. 32BJ and the NJ Sierra Club work very closely together on many issues from renewable energy to social justice to responsible development. I feel very proud to be recognized by such an outstanding organization. We will continue to work together on everything ranging from a $15 minimum wage, protecting DREAMERS and immigrants, and working on environmental justice. I want to thank the SEIU for presenting me with this recognition and reaffirm our continued friendship and partnership,” said Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club.
