NJ Spotlight News with Briana Vannozzi Debuts New 6:30 p.m. Time Slot Weeknights Beginning September 4 on NJ PBS

Current encores at 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. remain as-scheduled

 

August 30, 2023 – NEWARK, NJ – NJ PBS, New Jersey’s public television network, announced a new time slot for the first airing of its flagship newscast. Beginning Monday, September 4th, NJ Spotlight News with Briana Vannozzi will air weeknights at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on NJ PBS (check local listings). It previously debuted each evening at 6 p.m., encoring at 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on NJ PBS.

 

“Over the years, we have heard that our local viewers wanted the NJ Spotlight News broadcast program to kick off a bit later in the evening and we are happy to accommodate,” said Sr. Managing Editor Jamie Kraft. “This new time slot, with BBC News America as a lead-in, will give viewers a truly global and local perspective on the day’s issues in one powerhouse block.”

 

NJ Spotlight News with Briana Vannozzi will also stream on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel at 6:30 p.m. each broadcast day.
