NJ Working Families Alliance Lauds Continued Movement of Earned Sick and Safe Days Bill

Trenton– In response to the movement of the NJ Earned Sick and Safe Days bill(A1827/S2171) out of Senate Budget and into a full Senate Vote, New Jersey Working Families Executive Director, Analilia Mejia, issued the following statement:

“After so many years of advocacy and expressed need from constituents across the state, it is exciting to see New Jersey moving towards the finish line in the race to create fair and common sense protections to workers and the public health. Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt and leadership from both the Senate and Assembly should be proud of the great strides they’ve helped make within the Governor’s first 100 Days in office.”
