NJAA PAC Reception Hits Record Number Of Attendees

NJAA PAC RECEPTION HITS RECORD NUMBER OF ATTENDEES

OVER 200 IN ATTENDANCE; INCLUDING 45 LEGISLATORS

(MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ) – On October 17, 2018 the New Jersey Apartment Association Political Action Committee (NJAA PAC) hosted 45 legislators at its annual PAC Reception in West Orange.

The largest reception of its kind for the multifamily (apartment) industry in New Jersey, legislators traveled from across the state to join over 155 NJAA members. During the reception, industry leaders had the opportunity to discuss the positive impact the multifamily industry has both on New Jersey’s economy as well as the overall quality of life for the one million New Jersey residents that call apartment living home.

NJAA Executive Director David Brogan commented, “We are thrilled to again report an even deeper interest in our Association from legislators. Between session days in Trenton and in-district events with constituents, we know it is difficult for decision makers to travel to an event like this. This interest illustrates the impact our industry has across all parts of New Jersey.” Mr. Brogan continued, “As issues like housing and economic development become even more prominent in Trenton, our members and their professionally-run properties stand ready to provide actionable solutions to some of the state’s most complex problems.”

The PAC reception, which is held annually, continues to grow each year. This year was no exception, as a record number of legislators and industry leaders were in attendance.
