Legislators Meet with NJAA Members and Staff at Annual PAC Reception
NJAA PAC RECEPTION HITS RECORD NUMBER OF ATTENDEES
OVER 150 IN ATTENDANCE; INCLUDING 35 LEGISLATORS
(MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ) – On October 16, 2019 the New Jersey Apartment Association Political Action Committee (NJAA PAC) held its Annual Legislative Reception at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey.
The largest single-industry PAC reception of its kind in New Jersey, legislators traveled from across the state while battling blustery “bomb cyclone” weather to join NJAA members at the event. During the reception, industry leaders had the opportunity to discuss the positive impact the multifamily industry has on both New Jersey’s economy as well as the overall quality of life for over one million New Jersey residents that call apartment living home.
NJAA Executive Director David Brogan commented, “We are thrilled to see a continuing trend of a deeper and broader interest from legislators on how multifamily property operations are impacting our state. Nearly three dozen legislators traveled from near and far in a Nor’easter to meet with our members, and we are truly appreciative.”
In addition to holding an annual reception, the NJAA PAC works year-round to educate officials on every level about the importance of the multifamily industry in New Jersey.
