This event brings together executives, stakeholders, and advocates to engage in a meaningful discussion about the pressing issues surrounding IDD community supports and services.
As a former two-term governor of Ohio, Governor John Kasich has an important message to share with the community serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
“We are excited to host NJACP’s first annual Executive Forum and honored to have Governor John Kasich speak to the IDD community,” said Valerie Sellers, NJACP CEO. “He not only demonstrated deep commitment to the intellectual and developmental disability community as governor but was a leading voice in promoting bipartisan solutions to health care reform, immigration and international trade and one of the few Republicans to advocate for Medicaid’s expansion speak to our community.”
Governor Kasich’s additional roles as the author of four New York Times best-sellers and in 2023, joined the MSNBC/NBC News as a Political Analyst, where he has continually demonstrated his belief that unity is the answer to the most common problems, will help to inform agency executives efforts to improve people’ lives with the services and supports they provide to individuals with IDD.
