NJBIA to Host Press Conference on NJ Hiring Crisis, Tuesday, July 27
On Tuesday, July 27, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association will host a press conference with business owners and other business leaders to discuss the continued and increasing hiring challenges faced by New Jersey employers.

The solution-based discussion will include immediate ways the state can help employers during the current hiring crisis, as well as the need for a more comprehensive plan to address future hiring issues.

The event will take place tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Red’s Lobster Pot on 57 Inlet Drive in Point Pleasant Beach.

Participants will include representatives from various industries throughout the state.

“The purpose of this event is to underscore the impacts our hiring shortage is having on our businesses, particularly during the tourism season, and to advance steps to problem solve,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka.

“New Jersey needs to proactively salvage what is left of this tourism season and to improve the hiring picture beyond. This event will establish what is at stake for our small businesses and our economy – and the need for action now.”
