NJBIA’s Women Business Leaders Forum to be Held, Friday, Sept. 14

On Friday, Sept. 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Newark Liberty Airport Marriott, NJBIA will be hosting its annual Women Business Leaders Forum.

This year’s event, which features beauty industry titan, best-selling author and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown as keynote speaker, is themed “Empowering Together.” The forum will feature discussions from women and men on how women can advance in corporate leadership and become part of the next generation of CEOs.

The event will include short, powerful speeches from business leaders:

• Steve Adubato, Ph.D., Emmy Award-winning Anchor, Author, “Lessons in Leadership”
• Deborah Degillio, President, New Jersey American Water
• Jill Kaplan, President of New York & New Jersey, United Airlines
• Karen J. Kessler, Founder and President of Evergreen Partners

In addition, there will be five different educational breakout sessions that will help build professional development skills in networking, communications, negotiations and dealing with challenges in the workplace.

NJBIA will also honor PNC Bank’s Linda Bowden with the Caren Franzini Leadership Award at the forum.
