NJCBA PRESIDENT DEVEAUX ON CRC’S FIRST MEETING

Trenton — New Jersey CannaBusiness Association (NJCBA) President Edmund DeVeaux issued the following statement today regarding the first meeting of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC):

“The first meeting of the CRC represents a milestone achievement, as the clock now begins to tick on establishing rules and regulations around the state’s adult-use and expanded medical cannabis markets. This is especially exciting for the numerous entrepreneurs who have been waiting several years for this day: for their opportunity to help shape a new industry in the state that will make a difference in so many ways.

“The Commission has a lot of work ahead of it. We have faith, however, that under the leadership of Chair Dianna Houenou and Executive Director Jeff Brown, they will succeed in creating a responsible, sustainable, diverse and profitable cannabis industry in New Jersey.”
