NJDSC Announces 2019 Conference in Atlantic City
Annual Event Will Seek to Build On Record Setting 2018 Conference, Bring Elected Officials, Party Leaders, Grassroots Activists Together
TRENTON, N.J. — The New Jersey Democratic State Committee will hold its annual NJDSC Conference from September 26-27, 2019, at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. The event will unite Democratic leaders and elected officials from throughout the state with grassroots progressive activists who are working to help the party win elections from the local level to the State Assembly this November. Governor Phil Murphy will headline the Conference and will give the keynote speech at its signature “Faith in the Democratic Party” clergy breakfast, which will begin its second day.
Additional event information including invited guests, programming and the conference Special Guest Speaker will be announced in the coming weeks. Anyone interested in registering for the NJDSC Conference can do so here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/2019conference#
“We intend to build upon last year’s successful NJDSC Conference and create momentum leading up to the November elections,” said NJDSC Chairman John Currie. “We look forward to bringing together and energizing Democrats under the leadership of Governor Murphy and the state’s Democratic leadership to begin our work necessary for victory in November.”
The NJDSC Conference will include opportunities for attendees to network and meet with other active Democrats, learn new skills at panels featuring experts in various campaign disciplines and much more. NJDSC will make all possible efforts to make the Conference as accessible as possible by offering transportation solutions to attendees. Anyone with transportation questions should contact the New Jersey State Democratic Committee at (609) 392-3367.
“I know that Democrats around the state are fired up to win campaigns for local and county offices this Fall, and our NJDSC Conference will be the perfect opportunity to bring the activists we need to knock doors and contact voters together with party leaders and candidates,” said NJDSC Vice Chair Peg Schaffer. “I’m looking forward to another Blue Wave this year, and just like last year that will start at our annual NJDSC Conference. I look forward to seeing you there.”
