NJDSC Executive Director Saily Avelenda Releases Statement on the Passing of Former First Lady Debby Kean

The executive director for NJ 11th for Change this morning applauded the work to date of Governor Phil Murphy’s Task Force investigating the administration of corporate tax incentives by the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), and decried the program.

TRENTON, NJ — Following the passing of former First Lady Debby Kean, NJDSC Executive Director Saily Avelenda has released the following statement:

“On behalf of Chairman Currie and the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the entire Kean family on the loss of former First Lady Debby Kean. From successfully lobbying to ensure that state workers had access to much needed childcare to raising private donations to fund major renovations at Drumthwacket, Mrs. Kean had an undeniably positive impact on New Jersey and our thoughts and prayers are with former Governor Kean, Senate Minority Leader Kean and their entire family.”
