NJFMBA ENDORSES CRYAN FOR SENATE

AND QUIJANO AND ATKINS FOR ASSEMBLY

UNION – New Jersey State Firefighters’ Mutual Benevolent Association President Ed Donnelly today announced that his organization has endorsed Joseph Cryan for Senate and Annette Quijano and Reverend Reginald Atkins for Assembly in New Jersey’s 20th legislative district.

Donnelly touted the hard work and dedication to their communities Cryan, Quijano and Atkins have become synonymous with and praised them for their focus and sacrifice in the midst of the ongoing global pandemic:

“Our members never missed a step fighting to make sure residents remain safe and protected and community leaders like Senator Joe Cryan, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano and Reverend Reginald Atkins have been tremendous partners in that fight,” said Donnelly.  “One critical front in this battle has been making sure information is properly disseminated that reflects the latest scientific input to help guide people responsibly and they have never wavered in their responsibility to those they serve in presenting that information.  They worked to prioritize securing PPEs throughout this crisis and now they are pushing to provide vaccinations that will serve to inoculate residents and bring us closer to the end of this long nightmare.”

Donnelly continued, “Senator Cryan, Assemblywoman Quijano and Reverend Atkins have our endorsement because they were partners with our members before the global pandemic and they have only leaned in more over this past year.”

Cryan, Quijano and Atkins thanked Donnelly and the FMBA for their endorsement.

“Ed Donnelly and the members of the FMBA are nothing less than heroes and they continue to prove that each and every day in Elizabeth, Roselle, Union and Hillside.  Where most see danger and look for the exit, FMBA members hop in the truck and charge towards in head-first trying to help.  Those are the people we always want by our side, and we are proud to accept their endorsement of our campaign today.”
