NJGOP Calls For Transparency On Alonso Government Time

For Immediate Release

Trenton, NJ – Former Murphy Administration Official, Adam Alonso has been separated from his position advising the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and suspended from his post as chief of staff at the Milwaukee 2020 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention.

This comes after the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Alonso drove a toxic work environment at the DNC and bullied and intimidated female staff members.
The New Jersey Republican State Committee is calling for transparency from the Murphy Administration during Alonso’s time in State Government. The Committee is submitting OPRA requests for all of Alonso’s electronic communications and communications mentioning him.
“Phil Murphy has a terrible history of hiring toxic individuals who mistreat women,” said NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt. “The public needs to know if Governor Murphy passed the trash on Adam Alonso. If Phil Murphy recommended Alonso for positions knowing Alonso’s history of work place harassment, the Governor must answer to Alonso’s victims.”
