NJOA Praises Administration After White House Remarks On Environmental Leadership In The United States

Trenton – New Jersey group calls remarks ‘a refreshing and exciting look’ at collaborative wildlife management efforts.

The New Jersey Outdoor Alliance on Tuesday released a statement praising recent White House remarks on environmental leadership in the United States and their focus on concepts like the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation and collaborative management efforts that support the traditions of sportsmen.

“These remarks not just by the President, but by cabinet secretaries, experts and even a small tackle shop owner, illustrate a refreshing and exciting look at what management of our abundant natural resources should look like” said NJOA spokesman Cody McLaughlin, an invitee to the White House event, “Sportsmen – and the small, mom and pop tackle shops, gun stores and sporting goods operations we support – are the back bone not just of our communities but the environmental conservation movement as a whole. It was a real honor to be invited to participate in an event that highlighted that proud heritage so strongly.”

About the New Jersey  Outdoor Alliance: New Jersey Outdoor Alliance’s mission is “preservation through conservation.” NJOA serves as a grassroots coalition of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen dedicated to the conservation of natural resources and environmental stewardship that champions the intrinsic value of fishing, hunting and trapping, among opinion leaders, policy makers, and the public at-large.
