Bob Hugin is Lying to New Jersey Voters about Senator Menendez

Hugin’s latest false attack is being called out by fact checkers across the country

TRENTON, N.J. — Bob Hugin is proving that he’s unfit to represent New Jersey in the U.S. Senate by spreading outrageous lies about Senator Bob Menendez in his latest attack ad. These blatantly false allegations have now been debunked by the New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and NJ Advance Media.

“Bob Hugin’s entire campaign is based on lies and deception, just like his career and fortune were built by preying on vulnerable Americans and raising the price of cancer drugs,” said NJDSC Executive Director Liz Gilbert. “New Jersey deserves better than a rubber stamp for President Trump. We need a Democratic leader like Senator Menendez in Washington to stand up for the middle-class and put an end to Trump’s dangerous agenda.”

Senator Menendez has dedicated his career to fighting for affordable healthcare and protecting the rights of women, families and workers. Hugin has spent millions of his own dollars lying to New Jerseyans and voters will be sending him a clear message that these despicable tactics will not be tolerated in the Garden State when Senator Menendez is re-elected on Nov. 6.
