Norcross to Hold Health Care Press Conference at South Jersey Clinic

CHERRY HILL, NJ – On Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) – a sponsor of H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act – will hold a press conference with South Jersey health care providers and recipients and community leaders, including Dr. Jubril Oyeyemi, a Virtua physician and founder of the Cherry Hill Free Clinic. The press conference coincides with the beginning of the 2020 open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act and follows Norcross’ vote to advance H.R. 3, which would cut the cost of prescription drugs for all Americans.

“Access to affordable and quality health care is a human right, and no one should be forced to go to the emergency room because they can’t afford their prescription drugs,” said Congressman Donald Norcross. “Thankfully, South Jersey physicians and free clinics are helping provide residents struggling to afford health care with the services they deserve, but we must take action now to expand access and lower prescription drug costs for families and seniors.”
