Norcross Statement on Passing of Judge Theodore Davis

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today released the following statement on the passing of Judge Theodore Davis:

“I am saddened today by the passing of former Superior Court Judge Theodore Davis, whose leadership as Camden’s Chief Operating Officer laid the groundwork for the city’s progress over the last several years.

“Judge Davis leaves a legacy of service for the city he was born in and loved. He brought supreme competence and integrity to every endeavor, never seeking recognition or praise, and always with a trademark mix of seriousness and kindness that endeared him to everyone he knew. Above all, Judge Davis was a gentleman who treated all people with compassion and respect and inspired others to do the same. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones as our city mourns the loss of one of its own.”
