Norcross Statement on Passing of Senator John McCain

Congressman Donald Norcross, who serves on the United States House Committee on Education and Labor, offered his support for the Raise the Wage Act. Democrats argue that passage of the act will increase the national minimum wage, which will lift people out of poverty and stimulate the economy.

Norcross Statement on Passing of Senator John McCain

CHERRY HILL, NJ – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01), a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), released the below statement following the passing of Senator John McCain:

“Senator John McCain was a true American patriot who helped define public service and love of country.


“We had our policy differences, but I will always respect his bipartisanship and leadership. In fact, all Americans should be respectful of, and grateful for, Senator McCain’s heroism and bravery.
 
“My family sends our thoughts and prayers to the McCain family during this difficult time.”
Norcross visited Hanoi, Vietnam in July 2017 with a bipartisan HASC delegation. The photos below, taken by Norcross, show a sculpture that commemorates the bravery of McCain and his fellow pilots.
