NORTH CALDWELL ELECTED OFFICIALS ENCOURAGE JOSH GOTTHEIMER TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR, INDICATE SUPPORT IF HE RUNS
NORTH CALDWELL, N.J. — Today, North Caldwell Council Members Anthony Floria-Callori, Matthew Atlas and Stephen Weinstein, along with borough leaders Jann Skelton and Mindy Opper encouraged Congressman Josh Gottheimer to run for Governor in 2025 and indicated their support for his campaign if he does. The group made the following statement:
“Gottheimer, a graduate of Grandview, Gould and West Essex High School, is a true North Caldwell success story. Josh is the best person to be our next Governor, and we can’t wait to back him if he runs. Josh’s record in Congress is distinct: Josh has fought for lower taxes, expanded the Child Tax Credit, passed historic gun safety legislation, fought for first responders, and made clear that he cares about every single one of us. We want someone who will work day in and day out to make life in New Jersey more affordable and get things done — and that’s Josh.
North Caldwell is Josh’s hometown which makes our endorsement especially meaningful. He learned his Jersey values right here in our community. We are proud to support Josh Gottheimer to be Jersey’s next Governor, and hope he runs.”
