(April 1, 2019) The lineup for the North Jersey Rough Riders Society event on Wednesday April 3 just got an added boost with the addition of New Jersey Republican Party State Committee Chairman Doug Steinhardt as a guest speaker.

The NJRRS event, billed as “A night for Sheriffs” is honoring Morris County SheriffJames Gannon, who is seeking re-election in November. Former Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno is a member of the host committee for the fundraiser at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, which starts at 7 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the event at the Park Savoy in Florham Park is Jack Ciattarelli, a former state Assemblyman and a Republican candidate for governor in 2017. Guadagno won the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2017.

The NJRRS founder Christian Barranco of Jefferson, said having Steinhardt as a guest speaker at the event that includes Ciattarelli and Guadagno, “will make this one of the most power packed and politically significant events of the year in New Jersey.  I’m looking forward to some terrific dialogue on how New Jersey can improve its economic future.”

The NJRRS was formed by Barranco, a union electrician active in the Republican Party, to bring together the three pillars of economic growth: government, labor and business.

The labor representatives for the April 3 event are Patrick Della Cava, IBEW Business Manager Local 102 and Anthony Abrantes, President of the Morris County Building Trades Council; the business representatives are Jerry Langer, Chief Commercial Officer at Langer Industries, Inc; and Joseph Caruso, business executive and chairman of the New Jersey Organization for Economic Growth; the government representatives are Guadagno and Assemblyman Anthony Bucco (R-D-25).

Those interested in attending the Rough Riders fundraiser should email their requests for tickets to NJRRS@societyforopportunity.org, or contact the organization through Facebook at SocietyForOpportunity, or call 973-897-1873. Tickets are $150.
