Oct 27: Sierra Club Endorses Democratic Candidates for LD25

The New Jersey Sierra Club will be announcing our endorsement of three democratic candidates for LD 25. We endorse Lisa Bhimani for State Senate and Richard Corcoran and Tom Moran for State Assembly to represent this district. We believe that the 25th District needs a change in leadership and that these candidates will better represent the people and fight for the environment.

WHO: New Jersey Sierra Club Director Jeff Tittel

WHAT: The New Jersey Sierra Club will be announcing our endorsement of the Democratic candidates for LD25: Lisa Bhimani for State Senate and Richard Corcoran and Tom Moran for State Assembly

WHEN: Friday, October 27th at 12:30 pm

WHERE: The Morristown Green, 10 N Park Pl, Morristown, NJ 07960. If weather conditions prevent this, the press conference will be moved to 11 Washington St, Morristown, NJ.

“The 25th District needs a change. They need candidates who will stand up for the people and environment in the region. The current representatives have opposed almost every major environmental issue. The Sierra Club is endorsing Lisa Bhimani, Richard Corcoran, and Tom Moran to represent LD25 in the state government because we believe that they will work to improve the lives of the people in their district. They will work to improve public transportation in the state. They also support fighting the Exxon settlement and making Exxon pay for the damage they did to the people and environment of New Jersey. We are confident that Bhimani, Corcoran, and Moran will fight for New Jersey’s environment, public health, and economy and fully endorsement them for State Senate and Assembly positions in the 2017 election,” said Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club.
