Old Bridge Ward 2 Hopeful Zeeshan Siddiqi Denounces Comments by Old Bridge Town Council Members

Zeeshan Siddiqi, Democratic Candidate for Ward 2 Old Bridge Town Council, denounced today various comments made last night by certain Republican members of the Old Bridge Town Council.
Mr. Siddiqi stated that we are in the middle of one of the worst pandemics in history, one that has killed more than 210,00 Americans, and the “Vote by Mail” process is needed to ensure the health and safety of our voters. He observed that certain Republican members of the Town Council were “out of touch with reality”, and engaged in “political grandstanding”, at the expense of Old Bridge residents.
Mr. Siddiqi strongly criticized one of the Council Members when she questioned the cost of the VBM Process, pointing out that to equate the pandemic with cost, trivializes the sanctity of human life. He stated that he will always place the health and safety of the residents as a top priority when making any decisions as a Council Member.
Mr. Siddiqi is asking the voters of Old Bridge Ward 2 to restore honesty and integrity to the Town Council and “Move Old Bridge Forward”, and to fill in your Mail-in Ballots and vote for Zeeshan Siddiqi as Councilman for Ward 2, on the Democratic Column Line A.
