Opening Reception for Artists with Disabilities

Hillsdale Access for All Committee (HAFA)
We are holding a reception for artists with disabilities at the
Hillsdale Train Station on
Friday, May 21 at 7:00 PM.
The Committee serves as an advocate for individuals with disabilities in the Hillsdale. We plan, educate and assist in gaining better access to businesses, services and interactions in the Community. The Committee’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for all individuals and their families so that they may participate, to the fullest extent possible in inclusive activities with non-disabled peers in the community.  We all benefit when people with disabilities are able to participate and use their talents, skills and abilities.
Councilman Frank Pizzella is the Borough’s Liaison to our Committee which is part of a county & statewide initiative. The Committee Chairperson, Gia Schneider, and team have put together an art show that will be on display through June.
