(Montclair, NJ – March 24, 2022) – Out Montclair, a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization established in 2021 to provide community, support, and solidarity for LGBTQIA+ people, today announces the first of our Event Sponsors as well as Stage and Media Sponsors for the inaugural Montclair Pride Festival, to be celebrated June 11, 2022, in downtown Montclair.

 

Eight entities have committed to date to be Event Sponsors – the highest sponsorship tier for Montclair Pride, a festival to represent and honor Montclair’s longstanding and widespread reputation as a welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ people and our allies, families, and neighbors. An additional five entities have been confirmed as Stage and Media Sponsors.

 

Event Sponsors include institutions that anchor Montclair as a cultural center, drawing visitors from around New Jersey and across the country. They also include leaders whose vision and businesses have elevated Montclair to a nationally-known creative, dynamic and diverse community serving and inspiring all. Media Sponsors for Montclair Pride include The Montclair Girl as Main Stage Sponsor, Montclair Local for the School of Rock Stage, Baristanet, Out in Jersey and Macaroni Kid.

The Montclair Pride festival, hosted by Out Montclair, will raise awareness and strengthen ties in our community and among all LGBTQ+ people and allies in the region, as well as provide a celebration filled with art, culture, food, music and live performances to uplift LGBTQ+ people, issues and history.
