Outpouring of support for Jerry Green continues to come in from across New Jersey

Gretchen Hickey, administrative assistant of Union County Manager Ed Oatman, hired Oatman's private consulting firm Parktowne Associates to provide services for her mayoral campaign and paid with funds from the campaign account of Assemblyman Jerry Green. Oatman doesn't see anything wrong with the situation.

Public memorial being planned for longtime New Jersey leader and former County Democratic Chairman

(LINDEN) Today, Union County Democratic Committee Chairman and 22nd District Senator Nick Scutari released the following statement regarding the memorial for Assemblyman Jerry Green:

I personally wish to thank the hundreds of friends, colleagues, and constituents of Jerry Green who have contacted us recently to express their sorrow at his recent passing. Jerry truly touched so many lives, and it’s incredible to witness this nearly constant outpouring of support. As it states in Jerry’s obituary, his family has arranged for private services. At the moment, we are planning a public memorial befitting a person such as my friend Jerry Green.  I would encourage those who knew him best and wish to come together to memorialize such a terrific life, to do so at that venue. Once those arrangements are finalized, we will of course make them public.
