Palisades Medical Center encourages HPAE to resume negotiations as soon as possible

Palisades Medical Center encourages Health Professionals & Allied Employees Local 5030 to resume negotiations as soon as possible for new contracts covering about 750 team members.

HPAE ended negotiations with PMC late Friday night just before the contracts expired. PMC was willing to continue talks. On Saturday, HPAE offered to resume negotiations on June 12, 13 and 14.
We encourage HPAE to return to the negotiating table as soon as possible. We have offered negotiations dates next week with the understanding that the union requires time to inform its membership of the schedule.
With each passing day, our dedicated team members are missing out on the competitive compensation we are providing across the Hackensack Meridian Health network.
We have provided HPAE a comprehensive offer that includes significant increase to shift differentials and on-call pay, new weekend differentials and base pay increases in each year of the contracts.
Hackensack Meridian Health remains committed to bargaining in good faith with HPAE Local 5030.
We want to settle negotiations without further delay or disruption and reach agreement on new contracts that continue to support excellent care for patients while providing team members with competitive wages and benefits in a safe work environment.
