Pallotta Applauds Passage of Coronavirus Relief Bill, Slams Democrats’ Obstruction
MAHWAH — Today, Frank Pallotta, Republican Candidate for New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, released the following statement in response to the House’s passage of the $2 trillion COVID-19 relief package:
“In light of soaring unemployment and economic unrest, I am pleased that the Senate and House have passed a measure that will put money in the hands of the hard-working people of our district. This bill isn’t perfect, but the most important part is that families and small businesses will get the money they need to pay their bills. I only hope that in future relief packages, we can include relief on the SALT and charitable deductions to further help my district and our State. While I am pleased that we have come together to pass this legislation, make no mistake: voters will remember in November that Nancy Pelosi held this much needed relief hostage by demanding Green New Deal items like solar panel credits and carbon emission requirements while Josh Gottheimer sat silent.”
