Pallotta Asks Democrats to Renounce Action Together NJ’s Anti-Police Petition

RAMSEY, NJ – Republican Candidate for Congress, Frank Pallotta (CD-05) asked Democrat Members of Congress Josh Gottheimer (CD-05), Mikie Sherrill (CD-11), and Bill Pascrell (CD-09) to renounce calls by the Leftist group Action Together NJ to remove police protection from schools in New Jersey.

“This is foolish and dangerous,” Pallotta said. “I do not believe we should be defunding police protection for schools and using children to make a political statement. Too much is at stake.”

Pallotta recently signed the National Police Pledge, which states:

A lawful society—free from mob rule and violent insurrection—is not possible without Law Enforcement.

Police Officers have chosen a noble profession. They dedicate their lives to upholding the law and protecting the sacred rights of their fellow citizens. As a profession, they deserve support and respect.

I stand with America’s Police and pledge to oppose any bill, resolution, or movement to “Defund the Police.”

Pallotta invited Congressmen Gottheimer and Pascrell, and Congresswoman Sherrill, to join him in signing the Police Pledge.

ACTION TOGETHER NEW JERSEY DOC.
