PARAMUS, NJ – Mayor Rich LaBarbiera officially kicked off his campaign for a third term at an impressive event last night at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack attended by many leading North Jersey Democrats as well as over 400 residents and supporters there to support the Mayor and his running mates, Councilman Pat Verile and Councilwoman Holly Tedesco-Santos. The event was attended by U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, U.S. Representatives Bill Pascrell and Josh Gottheimer and many, many more leading Democrats.
“During the last eight years Paramus has continued to thrive, with municipal property taxes lower today than they were when I was elected in 2010, services vastly improved and our community closer together than ever before,” said Mayor LaBarbiera, who was first elected in 2010 and previously served as a Council member. “Our team is running for re-election to keep putting Paramus First by making our local government more efficient, protecting our Blue Laws and our residential neighborhoods and proactively planning ahead to ensure that Paramus remains the best place not only in Bergen County, but in the State.”
