PARAMUS REPUBLICANS STATEMENT ON DEMOCRATS INCOMPENTENCE

PARAMUS — Republican council candidates Rob Kaiser and Ace Antonio denounce the 10% increase levied by Holly Tedesco and the Paramus Democrat majority. “It is upsetting, but not surprising, that years of poor management of our finances by the Democrat majority has led to this day,” said candidate and former South Hackensack Deputy Police Chief Rob Kaiser, “runaway spending and rewarding cronies has finally led to this astonishing tax increase.”

Ace Antonio expressed similar concern. “When I was on the Board of Education, I analyzed each line of the budget to ensure tax dollars were wisely spent. The Democrat majority simply rewards their friends and relatives with pay increases.”

Councilman Chris DiPiazza, who voted against the budget, echoed these sentiments. “Years of the Democrat majority rewarding their friends, family and business partners along with poor planning have caused this train wreck,” said DiPiazza, “I have never supported a Democrat proposed budget because year after year the Democrat majority fails to come up with a viable plan for the town and instead chooses to enrich their own interests.”

Kaiser and Antonio expressed particular interest with Councilwoman Tedesco, calling her repeated votes for increased spending and overdevelopment disqualifying to continue to represent the town. Kaiser and Antonio have promised a thorough review of the budget when elected and a proposing a budget that puts Paramus residents first and Democrat cronies last.
