Pascrell to Lead Annual Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – TOMORROW, MARCH 4 at 10:00AM, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09), co-founder and chair of the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force, will host the annual Brain Injury Awareness Fair on Capitol Hill. This yearly event is dedicated to raising public understanding of the struggles faced by injury victims and their families, increasing awareness of brain injury in the United States, and supporting research initiatives for rehabilitation and potential cures.

 

The fair in Rayburn Foyer will be followed by a briefing, Improving Function After Brain Injury Leads to Greater Life Participation, moderated by Joanne Tangney, President and CEO of Success Rehabilitation, and featuring several professionals in the brain injury field. The briefing and reception following it will be held in Rayburn HOB Room 2168.
