Pascrell Praises Tahesha Way

Passaic County’s own “will help govern our state with integrity, grace, and compassion”

PATERSON, NJ – Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) today praised the elevation of New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way to be the state’s next Lieutenant Governor.

“My friend and our Secretary of State Tahesha Way has a distinguished record of public service and has worked tirelessly to ensure that our elections are free, fair, and accessible to all. Her dedication to civic engagement, voting rights, and community empowerment has been a model for public servants everywhere. I now Tahesha will help govern our state with integrity, grace, and compassion alongside Governor Murphy,” said Congressman Pascrell. “Of course Secretary Way has big shoes to fill. Our state continues to mourn the terrible loss of Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver. My prayers remain with her family and loved ones.”
