Pascrell Statement on Anti-Hate Resolution

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-N.J.-09) issued a statement after voting in favor of H.Res. 183, a condemnation of antisemitism and other forms of bigotry, which was overwhelmingly approved by the House of Representatives.

“Antisemitism is a plague on humanity. Anti-Muslim bigotry is a disgrace. Hatred aimed at the heart of any people, religious or ethnic, can never be accepted by modern civilization and must be extinguished in all its forms in the same way a boot stamps out a flame. No great nation can exist in conflict with these truths. We will remain on guard so that our nation will never forget our responsibilities.”
