Passaic Candidates’ Night Moderated by League of Women Voters

Thomas Duch, District 40 Democratic Candidate for NJ Senate, and Paul Vagianos and Christine Ordway, Distirct 40 Democratic Candidates for NJ Assembly, will participate in the Passaic Candidates’ Night tonight. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of Passaic County.

Passaic County Freeholder Candidates will go first at 7pm, and District 40 Legislative Candidates will start at 8pm. The event will be held at the Wayne Municipal Building (475 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ 07470) in the Council Chambers.

Kristin Corrado, District 40 Republican Candidate for NJ Senate, and Kevin Rooney and Christopher DePhillips, District 40 Republican Candidates for NJ Assembly, have been invited to the event.

Thomas Duch, current City Manager of Garfield, is a resident of Wyckoff who is running for the NJ Senate. Tom has served both as the Mayor of Garfield and in the NJ State Assembly from 1987 – 1991. Paul Vagianos, owner of It’s Greek to Me restaurant in Ridgewood, is running for the NJ Assembly. In addition to his experience as a small business owner, he has served as Deputy Attorney General on the NJ Environmental Prosecutions Task Force, is a professor at Manhattan College, and is the current President of the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce. Christine Ordway, a CPA with an MBA in Finance, is running for the NJ Assembly. She worked for many years at Ernst and Young as an auditor, and taught elementary school while raising her family.
