PASSAIC COUNTY ISSUES A CODE BLUE ALERT

 

(Passaic County, New Jersey) – By authority of the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, a Code Blue Alert is being issued for Passaic County, effective today, December 2, 2020 at 5 p.m..

According to the National Weather Service, the forecasted overnight temperature is expected to fall below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

If residents are aware of any unsheltered homeless individuals in need of a warming center, residents may call 211 to access a shelter, or call the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (973) 389-5951 and advise the dispatcher that there is an at-risk individual in need of a welfare check under the Passaic County Code Blue Alert Plan.
