Passaic County Young Democrats Announces Historic Endorsement of Mikie Sherrill for NJ Governor
Passaic County, NJ – In a historic move, the Passaic County Young Democrats (PCYD) have broken tradition by endorsing Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey Governor ahead of the primary election. This unprecedented decision highlights the significance of the upcoming statewide election and reaffirms the organization’s dedication to supporting leaders who represent the values and priorities of young Democrats. With this endorsement, PCYD becomes the first young Democrat organization in New Jersey to take such a step before the primary cycle.

PCYD President Ahmet Akdag serves as the Director of Passaic County Paratransit. PCYD Vice President Habib Kader serves as the Chief of Staff for Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh.
