Pastor calls on U.S. Senate Candidate, Bob Hugin, to Denounce Trump Administration Policy of Family Separation at the Border

Pastor calls on U.S. Senate Candidate,
Bob Hugin, to Denounce Trump Administration
Policy of Family Separation at the Border

Hackensack- Time and again we have heard from Trump delegate, Bob Hugin, that he is a “different kind of Republican,” but we’ve yet to hear a single word from him regarding the Trump administration’s policy of family separation at the border. As a candidate for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, he must immediately denounce this draconian policy.

His silence demonstrates that he will fall in line with Trump’s xenophobic agenda and join the ranks of the entire Senate Republican caucus who have not signed onto the “Keep Families Together Act.” He has also clearly stated his opposition to sanctuary cities despite the tremendous benefits to public safety. How is he any different?

Let it be clear, Bob Hugin supported and helped elect Donald Trump, all while knowing where the President’s future policies and values would align. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Bob Hugin has been silent on the Trump Administration’s un-American and despicable policy. New Jersey deserves true leaders who will take a stand and not stand idly by.
