PATERSON, NJ — Mayor Andre Sayegh is supporting NJDSC Chairman John Currie for a new term. With Mayor Sayegh’s support, Chairman Currie now has the endorsement of the Mayors of the state’s three largest cities after earlier today being endorsed by Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop. Chairman Currie is also being supported by Governor Phil Murphy and the Democratic County Chairs of Hudson, Bergen, Sussex, Warren, Morris and Hunterdon counties, in addition to his own Passaic County.

“John Currie’s time as Chairman has been marked by inclusive leadership and incredible gains for Democrats with the culmination being the Blue Wave he and his team helped engineer this Fall,” said Mayor Sayegh. “I am supporting John Currie for Chairman because he is a proven winner and someone who will organize our party and help us continue to win elections and bring more people into the process.”
