What:            We the People, a non-profit organization begun by Bergen County Freeholder Tracy Silna Zur, invites media to attend the second annual “Martin Luther King Day of Service.”  The event welcomes students from Bergen County’s diverse religious and cultural communities to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of community service.  The students will work together on multiple service-minded projects, and we hope to encourage discussions, friendships, and the promotion of understanding that our diversity is our strength, and that our similarities are greater than our differences.  

Bergen County Prosecutor and nominee for NJ Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal will be in attendance. 

The event is sponsored by Inserra Supermarkets.  Donations have also been received by Wal-Mart and Learning Express of Ridgewood.

Where:         Saddle Brook VFW Post #3484, 44 Market Street, Saddle Brook

When:           Monday, January 15^th 12:30-3:00pm
