Peterpaul makes history

In a resounding landslide win, retired Judge Luanne Peterpaul, Esq has made history as the first openly-LGBTQ woman elected to New Jersey’s legislature. Luanne will join Senator Vin Gopal and her runningmate Dr. Margie Donlon in representing New Jersey’s 11th Legislative District. “All over the state, LGBTQ Democrats stepped up to run and outworked the competition. Luanne’s been at the forefront of LGBTQ equality in New Jersey so it was a natural progression for her to continue breaking down the walls.” said Lauren Albrecht, NJ LGBTQ Dems chair. Albrecht continued, “Luanne’s candidacy, along with dozens of other LGBTQ candidates, excited our community and energized us to engage in the democratic process. Her win is a sign of great things to come.”
