Pezzullo Wins Middlesex County Convention

Rich Pezzullo secured the support of the Middlesex County Republican Organization this morning in Sayreville, as more than 160 gathered county committee members voted unanimously to endorse his campaign to unseat Democratic Congressman Frank Pallone in New Jersey’s Sixth District.

In remarks to the gathering, Pezzullo urged the county’s Republicans to rally around his cause. “The people of the Sixth District are good, hard-working people, and they are being hindered in their pursuit of happiness by the federal government.”

“For three decades now,” Pezzullo continued, “they have had no voice in Congress. They have been represented by a man who gets nothing done because he is too radical for his own radically leftist party. He doesn’t care about his district, he doesn’t care about New Jersey.”

Pezzullo was grateful to receive the support of both county organizations within the Sixth District. “Monmouth and Middlesex, a team like no other,” he quipped. “We can now speak with one accord: the people of the Sixth District deserve a Congressman that cares about them and shares their values.”

“To all the Republicans of the Sixth District, I promise you: this is the year we dethrone Pallone. Let’s get started.”
