Phil Murphy human rights abuse allegations are disqualifying
SAYREVILLE, N.J. — The allegations made tonight on NJ.com about ex-banker Phil Murphy’s oversight of Taiwanese-based shoe manufacturer Yue Yuen while at Goldman Sachs are truly disturbing and disqualifying for the Office of Governor. John Wisniewski made the following statement:

“The evidence on these allegations show that Phil Murphy looked the other way on human rights violation in pursuit of profit. Slave labor, inhumane living conditions – these allegations are of the worst kind and it is abhorrent Phil Murphy ignored it all as the Goldman Sachs executive who had administrative oversight of the company.

“This is further evidence that Phil Murphy is not fit to be governor. Phil Murphy has consistently put profits above people. Whether it’s his investments in companies that destroy the environment while claiming to be an environmentalist, or his touting of a $15 minimum wage, but paying thousands of campaign workers workers only $12.50, Phil Murphy preys upon the working poor, paying as little as he can to squeeze out maximum profits.

“New Jersey can’t afford another Goldman Sachs banker. Phil Murphy’s hypocrisy has no bounds, he is unfit for office.”
