Phil Rizzo Visits with the Lakewood Jewish Community

June 1, 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PARSIPPANY – On Sunday, May 30 Phil Rizzo brought his campaign for Governor to Lakewood, visiting with key leaders of the Jewish community. This follows Rizzo’s release of a Faith Leaders Advisory Council and the endorsements of NJ Faith Leaders from all 21 counties.
Some highlights of Rizzo’s visit can be seen below.

“On the COVID issues, Mr. Rizzo warned, ‘don’t be fooled by the relaxing of measures on mask wearing by adults and school children. As soon as the election is over, should we have to suffer the unfortunate re-election of Gov. Murphy, things will get even worse. Mark my words, the announcement of relaxed measures is temporary.’”

“When asked about the terrible situation involving the deaths of so many senior adults in nursing homes, Mr. Rizzo commented, ‘Gov. Murphy needs to answer for those deaths.’”

“Our campaign is picking up steam as we approach election day,” said Rizzo. “We will continue to reach out to faith leaders all across New Jersey. Governor Murphy’s assault on religious liberty must stop, but the only way it will is if we beat him in November.”
