Planned Parenthood NJ Super PAC Releases Second Mail Piece Targeting Battleground Districts

TRENTON, NJ – Planned Parenthood NJ Super PAC has launched its second mailing to voters in key districts across the state. This mailing, reaching more than 153,000 mailboxes, seeks to activate voters who tend to only cast ballots in federal elections. By highlighting the risk to abortion access in New Jersey as the entire Legislature is up for election on November 7, the mailing encourages voters to make their voices heard to protect reproductive freedom.

“In New Jersey, the future of abortion access is at stake,” said Jackie Cornell, trustee of Planned Parenthood NJ Super PAC. “We cannot be complacent: just one election can undo the years of progress our state has made when it comes to protecting and expanding our reproductive freedom.”

This mailing, one example of which is attached, is the second in the organization’s overall mail program. The first mail piece landed in 66,000 mailboxes in late September, and targeted voters in battleground districts who are most likely to vote-by-mail.

National and state polling shows that abortion rights are the top motivating issue for voters this cycle. Planned Parenthood NJ Super PAC and other Planned Parenthood advocacy organizations in the state will continue to contact and activate voters through mail, digital, and in-person communication channels for the next month until Election Day.
