POLITO ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR FREEHOLDER-AT-LARGE

(Hammonton) Today, Nick Polito of Hammonton announced his candidacy for Atlantic County Freeholder-at-Large, representing all 23 municipalities in Atlantic County.

“I plan to fight for the people of western Atlantic County, and as Freeholder, I will prioritize the interests of all 23 municipalities,” said Polito. “I’m running for Freeholder because all corners of the county should share in economic development, investment, and the opportunity for high paying jobs.”

Polito has been a volunteer firefighter for 23 years. He has served in the Galloway Township and Hammonton Fire Departments, as well as the Atlantic County Firefighters Association. Polito is a 30-year employee of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and is currently a member of Local 200. He has been a proud member of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, and served on the executive council of Local 194. Polito is also a Licensed Realtor with Weichert Realtors in Atlantic City.

Polito has lived in Hammonton for 12 years and previously served on the Hammonton Zoning Board and the Hammonton Green Committee. He and his wife Erica have two children, A.J. and Gabriella.

“Serving as a firefighter for the past 23 years has taught me to appreciate what really matters in our everyday lives. Being a public servant is not about photo ops, press releases, or how many ribbon-cuttings you can attend, it’s about making a lasting difference in people’s lives. That’s why I’m running to become Atlantic County’s next Freeholder,” said Polito.

Polito will seek the Democratic nomination for Atlantic County Freeholder-at-Large at the 44th Annual Atlantic County Democratic Convention this Sunday, March 24 at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. For more information about the Convention, please email info@atlanticdemocrats.com.
