LEADERS OF POOR PEOPLE’S CAMPAIGN WILL SPEAK AT NEWARK RALLY
The Rev Dr William Barber II and Rev Dr Liz Theoharis, Co-chairs of the Poor People’s Campaign, will speak at a rally against poverty and injustice on Saturday, June 4, 2022, 11am at the Lincoln Statue, 12 Springfield Avenue in Newark, NJThe Lincoln Statue is located the intersection of Springfield Avenue and West Market Street in downtown Newark.The event is being organized by the national Poor People’s Campaign, New Jersey Poor People’s Coordinating Committee and the People’s Organization For Progress (POP).
