September 7, 2017

Princeton – In New Jersey’s 16th Legislative District, the three Democratic candidates, Laurie Poppe for State Senate, Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker, and Roy Freiman for Assembly, are showing strong energy heading into the fall campaign season.

“We are excited about the energy surrounding our campaign,” said Austin Lyle, campaign manager for LD16. “We’ve knocked on over 16,000 doors, made over 29,000 phone calls, and have had the support of over 200 volunteers involved in our campaign. We look forward to building on this momentum as we head towards November 7th.”

In the 16th, Laurie Poppe is challenging Republican Senator Bateman, Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker is seeking reelection, and Roy Freiman is running for the open Assembly seat.

The 16th Legislative District includes the townships of Delaware, Raritan, Readington,

Branchburg, Hillsborough, Montgomery, and South Brunswick, the Princeton municipality and

the Manville, Millstone, Rocky Hill, Flemington, and Somerville boroughs.
